NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It’s all systems go for the big return of Junkanoo to Bay. The culture Minister telling media at a press conference this morning that while the sold-out parade may experience seating challenges, it will still be a parade for the history books.

The big return to Bay is just days away and tickets are already sold out.

With such high anticipation from Junkanoo lovers and Bahamians at large, the Minister of Culture, Mario Bowleg, says overcrowding is expected to this end, he notes that police and Defense Force Officers will be out to ensure the safety of all parade attendees.

This year, KFC will be making their commitment to culture felt in a tangible way, donating some $30,000 dollars to the ministry.

Chairman of the National Junkanoo Committee Andrew Pinder used the opportunity to thank KFC.
