“The FNM Making Mischief Out of Prorogation”

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The prorogation of parliament is nothing new. The assertion coming from Foreign Affairs Minister and PLP Chairman Fred Mitchell in response to the opposition Free National Movement, who criticized the move by the Davis administration.

Mitchell noting that the proroguing of parliament is not uncommon in the Westminister system and simply signals the ending of one session and the beginning of another.

The new session of parliament will begin on October 4th.

Mitchell telling reporters that the opposition is simply making mischief out of the prorogation.
