UNITED STATES – The U.S. economy grew at a rate of 2.6% from July through September ending two straight quarters of contraction and overcoming high inflation and interest.

The news comes just as voting begins in mid-term elections in which the economy has emerged as a key voting issue.

President Biden said Wednesday his administration is examining fees imposed on sectors like entertainment and travel, among others.
