NASSAU, BAHAMAS – In less than two months, the University of The Bahamas will have a new president.

Our Sasha Lightbourne speaks with the outgoing president about his legacy as he prepares to leave the tertiary institution.



Dr. Smith, who demits office at the end of July, has spent a total of nine years at the institution, leading the transition from college to university.

He also shared this about contributions he’s made during his tenure.
