Eight Murders This Week

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police with their hands full last night with two murders just hours apart. It caps off a deadly week here in the capital, as the murder count seemingly climbs higher every day.

Pools of blood on the sidewalk as neighbours look on at yet another homicide.

Police reporting two murders Thursday night bringing the annual murder count to 71. The first incident happening on the corners of Robinson Road and Washington Street. A man believed to be in his 30’s, is gunned down near a bar shortly before 11 PM. These two murders capping off a week of murders at an astounding seven.

Police now pleading with the public to try and help curb the violence. Police say they are following significant leads in both of these latest homicides.
