ABACO, BAHAMAS – A night not soon forgotten down in Abaco with the “Biggest Boss” Rick Ross.

“Abaco, Bahamas,  beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Last night was amazing. The fireworks, the energy of the crowd,  all the dis,  salute to the big homies who put this event together.”
That’s the message from Grammy-nominated artist and entrepreneur Rick Ross, shared with his millions of followers after headlining Black Bottle Fest in Abaco over the weekend.

It was a historic moment, the first time a major international artist has ever performed in the small Abaco settlement. The festival was hosted by Foreign Currency Promotions, and according to executive Ramond Ramsey, the choice to bring Ross to the island was deeply intentional.

“My brother is from Northern Abaco, and we thought this would be a great way to motivate, influence, and empower the people of Abaco.”

Ramsey says the team wanted to create an experience that meant something, especially for a community that often gets overlooked. And they weren’t alone. Investors quickly got on board.
