NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police are issuing a warning to all parents after the body of a boy was found in the Sea Breeze Canal, Tuesday afternoon.

Chief Superintendent Chrislyn Skippings briefed media on the scene, after the teen’s body was pulled from waters. Skippings says police received reports that a group of three or four boys from Nassau Village or Pinewood Gardens were swimming unsupervised in the canal, when the boy apparently drowned.

Skippings says children should not be left unattended, and warns parents to parent their children and know their whereabouts at all times.
