NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Lindsay Shiver, the American housewife accused of plotting the murder of her husband, Robert Shiver, wants to go back to The United States as she awaits her trial.

The prosecution didn’t oppose the application on the condition that she doesn’t come within 100 feet of her husband, the alleged target of the murder plot.

Justice Cheryl Grant-Thompson is scheduled to deliver a decision on the application to vary the terms of Shiver’s $100,000 cash bail on December 21.

Shiver, 37, was prohibited from leaving the country until she received her voluntary bill of indictment, which was served earlier this month.

She was arrested in Abaco on July 21 after police allegedly uncovered the murder plot while searching her Bahamian lover’s cellphone while he was under arrest for another crime.

Shiver is charged along with her Bahamian boyfriend Terrance Bethel and his friend, Faron Newbold Jr. They have pleaded not guilty and a trial date is set for March 4.
