NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man who jumped bail in the middle of his murder trial is back in custody.

Police arrested Roobens Elusme on June 13 after they allegedly caught him in a stolen Nissan Juke that belonged to Kimberley Burrows.

Justice Gregory Hilton has issued an arrest warrant for Elusme in April and ordered hia $30,000 bail revoked after he failed to return for his murder trial.

He’s accused of the January 1, 2020 murder of Marvin Meadows, who was killed in a driveby shooting at Third Street, Coconut Grove.

Elusme eluded authorities until last Thursday when he was arrested along with Kervin Pierre Louis and Leonardo St Hilaire.

Pierre Louis and St Hilaire were arraigned on charged of car theft and receiving before Senior Magistrate Algernon Allen Jr.

Bail was deferred for Pierre Louis and St Hilaire was offered $6,000 bail.

A trial date has been set for September 19.

Their co-accused Elusme will be arraigned later this week.
