Third Teen Arrested In ‘Explosives And Knives’ Attack At Swift Concert

AUSTRIA – A 19-year-old man is in police custody for planning to kill “a large crowd of people” in a suicide attack at a Taylor Swift concert in Vienna, Austria.

Local officials say the teen – who previously pledged allegiance to the Islamic State Group – confessed that he “intended to carry out an attack using explosives and knives”.

He was among 3 suspects arrested Wednesday. An 18-year-old and an acquaintance of the main suspect, were also arrested Thursday.

Swift’s 3 sold-out shows at the Ernst Happel Stadium have been cancelled. Over 195,000 people were expected to attend.
