NEW YORK – In a dazzling gold dress The Bahamas’ very own Wendi took the Caribbean Music Awards stage by storm in New York City.
NEW YORK – In a dazzling gold dress The Bahamas’ very own Wendi took the Caribbean Music Awards stage by storm in New York City.
Not only did she turn heads as a presenter she was also a performer paying tribute to soca legend Alison Hinds.
Known for her larger-than-life persona, organizers of the awards show say they were eager to have the Bahama Mama at this year’s star-studded event.
Wendi’s been following their work for years. She tells me there is never a time that she steps on stage that she’s not nervous.
But she says standing in front of the region’s top artists was next-level jitters.
But by the end of the night she left an impression that will not be forgotten.
