NASSAU, BAHAMAS – As the Progressive Liberal Party (PLP) celebrates three years in office, the Communications Director in the Office of the Prime Minister, Latrae Rahming, highlighted the party’s accomplishments while admitting there’s still work to be done.

“We inherited a very broken economy. Three years in, we have strong economic growth, record tourism arrivals, and significant progress on labor relations, education, and affordable housing.”

Despite the successes, Rahming acknowledged that there are pending investigations, and the administration remains committed to accountability.

“Where there’s evidence of corruption or breaches of ethics, those responsible will be held to the highest standards.”

Looking forward, Rahming outlined key priorities for the next two years, including reducing the cost of energy and addressing violent crime.
