Grand Classica Returns To Grand Bahama

GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Thousands of tourists will be cruising into Grand Bahama every month as the Grand Classica resumes sailing to the island.

Following a month-long hiatus to help with hurricane relief efforts in New Orleans, the Grand Classica is back and bringing an average of 6,000 guests to Grand Bahama per month.

The cruise director says the island’s hotels and excursions are a huge draw for passengers

Boarding in West Palm Beach for a two day cruise passengers must not only be fully vaccinated but also test before boarding.

Grand Bahama’s tourism manager says he’s excited about the ships return and what that at one point 25 maritime cadets worked on the ship.

Since the pandemic only three remain but they’re looking to get more onboard soon.
