NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Accused killer Shaquille Sturrup argued in court the reason he should be granted bail.

He’s accused of fatally shooting Devontino Brown at Grey’s Terrace on May 23.

But, according to Sturrup, police railroaded him by failing to check surveillance cameras in the area that allegedly showed he wasn’t the killer.

Prosecutors have argued against Sturrup’s release, saying there was no unreasonable delay in the case.

Justice Neil Brathwaite will give his bail decision on October 30.
