NASSAU, BAHAMAS – An attempted armed robbery ended in a police chase and the arrests of three men in their 20’s.

Police Commissioner Clayton Fernander was on scene and revealed the trio entered a Superwash on west Carmichael Road and attempted to rob the business.

However, he said the men were frightened and fled the business in a black Japanese vehicle.

Fernander said no one was hurt in the incident, adding that the men were unable to take anything from the business.

He highlighted his policing plan which calls for saturation patrols.

The police commissioner said the two men were arrested at the end of the chase but the third tried escaping by running into a nearby home.
