NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Amid continued calls for the protection of women and girls in the country, a group of women are using their voices to bring awareness to issues of violence and discrimination against women.

It is the brainchild of Director, Co-producer and Writer Gina Rodgers-Sealy – The Two-Faced Gender Inequality in The Bahamas documentary was created by a group of women from different walks of life with a shared passion.

Rodgers-Sealy says the documentary seeks to tackle a number of issues and it is those personal stories that co-producer Marion Bethel says will hopefully influence those who see it to end violence and discrimination against women.

The documentary premieres at Fusion Superplex Wednesday night and Rodgers-Sealy says she’s hoping that the timely project will be a catalyst to get more people involved.
