NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Former Cabinet Minister Lanisha Rolle was back in court concerning allegations that she fraudulently awarded contracts worth over $750,000 while in office.

Rolle, the former Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture appeared before Senior Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans along with her husband Vontenken Rolle, Godfrey Burrows, and Wilfred Rolle Jr. to receive the evidence that the prosecution will present against them at their trial in the Supreme Court.

However, Magistrate Vogt-Evans didn’t serve the voluntary bill of indictments after she noticed some discrepancies in the documents.

The matter has been adjourned to June 15th.
