Israel Marks Oct. 7 Anniversary Under Shadow Of Escalating War

ISRAEL – Rockets fired by Hezbollah rained down on Northern Israel on Sunday night into Monday morning, as Israel marked the first anniversary of the October 7th Hamas attack.

The Rockets got past Israeli air defence systems and landed in Haifa, Israel’s third-largest city, causing casualties and damage to buildings.

Hezbollah has been firing rockets at northern Israeli towns and villages following the Oct 7 attack, saying it has done so in solidarity with Hamas.

Israel has escalated its offensive against Hezbollah figures and targets in Lebanon in recent weeks, in order to get tens of thousands of its evacuated citizens back to their homes in northern Israel.
