NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Jazz Chisholm was knocked out of a game with an injury as his Miami Marlins lost 3-straight to their division rivals, the Atlanta Braves over the weekend.

Jazz went 3-11 in the series and did not drive in a run as the Marlins ran into a brick wall.

Jazz was pulled out of yesterday’s game with soreness in his oblique.

They’ll try to get something going tonight against the St. Louis Cardinals.

Long jumper Laquan Nairn won the gold at the Diamond League event in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Nairn, the brother of Tum Tum Nairn won the event with a ridiculous jump of 8.11 meters, or 26 feet and 7.25 inches.

Nairn said he’s coming home to compete in front of his family at the BAAA’s Senior Nationals being held this week, before he returns to the Diamond League.
