NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Prime Minister Philip Davis hits back at Free National Movement Leader Michael Pintard who recently asked the administration to explain how it determined half the country’s national debt is due to the impact of hurricanes.

Last week, Davis said the government undertook an exercise that revealed more than half of The Bahamas’ outstanding debt can be linked to the impact of hurricanes between 2015 and 2019.

In a statement on Monday, Pintard asked the PM to justify the calculation.
