NIB And Public Managers Union Sign Agreement

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Executives of The Public Managers Union signed a five-year industrial agreement Wednesday morning. PMU President, Cassandra Cartwright Lewis says while members are still not completely satisfied, the union will hold off on using a strike certificate.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Executives of The Public Managers Union signed a five-year industrial agreement Wednesday morning. PMU President, Cassandra Cartwright Lewis says while members are still not completely satisfied, the union will hold off on using a strike certificate.

Lewis says she is moving forward, the union hopes the time-frame for negotiations and the signing of agreements will be shortened. Minister of State in the Office of the Prime Minister, Myles Laroda outlined some of the issues addressed in the new agreement.
