NASSAU, BAHAMAS – World Heritage Day was observed around the country on Monday with celebrations being held at the Clifton Heritage National Park.

The event seeks to promote the protecting and preservation of our nation’s rich culture.

Director of Educulture Bahamas Ltd. Arlene Nash-Ferguson sharing with the audience that heritage should not only be considered as history but a way of life.

Environment and Natural Resources Minister Vaughn Miller says climate change and heritage preservation go hand in hand.
