NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Those interested in assisting with the development of airports across the Family Islands still have a chance to do so.

This as government has extended the deadline for submissions of request for pre-qualifications for phase one of the Family Island Airport Development Project.

The new deadline for submission is now April 30th.

The Family Island Renaissance Programme is a $260 million dollar project that will transform 14 family island airports and related infrastructure.

Tourism and Aviation Minister Chester Cooper says they’re hopeful that the new deadline will ensure the best possible outcomes.
