6-Year Sentence For Armed Robber Who Took Plea Deal

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man who robbed three people in 2022 has taken a plea deal.

Winston Walker will serve six years in prison followed by one year of probation. Should he commit any offense during the probationary period, he’ll be sentenced to one year in prison.

His sentence takes effect from today and he will receive credit for the time he spent on remand.

On February 8, 2022, Walker robbed a woman of an Iphone 11 and attempted to rob a man of his 2019 Honda Civic at Yamacraw Beach.

On February 25, 2022, Walker robbed a man of his 2009 Nissan March, a cell phone, a Macbook Pro and a wifi box at Montagu Beach.

Two days later, he robbed a man of his 2012 Nissan Cube, a cellphone and a wifi box outside the Prime Time Lounge.
