PM Davis Talks Chairmanship, Hosting

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The prime minister will assume Chairmanship for CARICOM in January 2023. He spoke to local press including our Sasha Lightbourne in Suriname about what that chairmanship would mean and plans to host CARICOM in February next year.

Suriname President Chandrikapersad Santokhi currently holds the position.

The prime minister will assume the chairmanship next year and already has a list of issues he plans to tackle head-on and “right away”.
