FNM Golden Isles Candidate: It’s Too Late For The PLP

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – With just days to go before Golden Isles residents head to the polls, Free National Movement candidate Brian Brown is sharpening his criticism of the Davis administration, insisting that the recent wave of roadworks and upgrades in the area are politically motivated.

Brown believes the by-election is trending in his favor, pointing to what he describes as strong support from residents who view him as the more consistent and reliable option.

Brown says the improvements now happening across the constituency should have been done long before former MP Vaughn Miller’s passing triggered the upcoming vote.

He told Our News the administration is only now showing interest in Golden Isles because voting day is approaching.

In June, Brown was ratified as the FNM’s candidate. The PLP ratified Darron Pickstock and the COI ratified Brian Rolle.

Since launching his campaign, Brown says residents have been welcoming and vocal about their desire for stable representation.

He says if elected, he plans to continue his outreach programs for youth and seniors, while also focusing heavily on safety, cost of living issues and reducing financial pressure on Golden Isles families.
