FNM Leader: “The Road To Majority Rule Was Not Inevitable, It Required Struggle”
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Members of the Free National Movement commemorated the country’s 59th year of majority rule Monday, holding a solemn wreath ceremony at the graveside of Sir Cecil Wallace-Whitfield, the founding member and the first leader of the party. At the ceremony, party leader, Michael Pintard, says that Sir Cecil stood along with the country’s founding fathers, regardless of political differences.
