NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Following a one-day mission to Haiti in search of ways to address the ongoing challenges in that country, the National Security Minister is sharing some of those findings.

Wayne Munroe, National Security Minister, was part of that delegation to Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, says they met with more 70 people including members of the religious and business communities, political parties and civil society.

He says the one thing they could all agree on was the country’s main issue was insecurity.

Davis, who serves as chair of CARICOM, says they will now determine if another meeting will be required to continue charting the way forward for Haiti.
