UNITED KINGDOM – Prince William returned to public duties Thursday for the first time since his wife Kate revealed she was undergoing preventative chemotherapy for cancer.

The 41-year-old prince visited a youth centre which received regular deliveries from the charity ‘Surplus to Supper’.

In a video message last month, the Princess of Wales said tests taken following major abdominal surgery in January had uncovered cancer.

William has been absent from official engagements since then.
