FLORIDA, USA – A number of young Bahamian ladies made their mark on the international pageant stage recently at the world imperial beauties pageant held in Orlando, Florida.

Eleven year-old Saint Anne’s student, Aminah Lockhart came home with the cover model title. She says her passion for pageantry started when she watched pageants with her mother at home. However, she admits she was surprised by the realities of competition life.

Lockhart’s talent of choice? Dance! And she says her passion for dance is something she finds a greater purpose in.

Seventeen year old, Zabrielle Ramhing hails from Grand Bahama with roots in Eleuthera. She just started her pageantry journey last year. Yet, she managed to come home with the Teen International Crown.

Her platform was supporting teen mental health. She says the social impact pageants can have is often overlooked.
