Guy. Official Accused Of Abusing Wife

GUYANA – Guyanese Opposition Leader Aubrey Norton has said Daniel Seeram, Chairman of Region Four Democratic Council, should resign over allegations that he assaulted his wife.

Norton told reporters the People’s National Congress Reform, where Seeram sits as an executive member, does not tolerate or condone any form of violence.

A disciplinary committee was formed on wednesday night to examine the allegations against seeram.

This is not the first time that seeram has been accused of a domestic incident.

Last year, he was brought before the courts over allegations that he threatened his father-in-law with his licensed firearm.
