NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Interest in trade industries and certifications continue to soar and enrollment numbers are the strongest they’ve ever been, according to Interim President of The Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute.

The institution boasts of nearly 3,000 full time students across the country.

Dr. Davis says more campuses are in the pipeline.

Established in 2014, the LJM Maritime Academy is fairly new but, President, Dr. Brendamae Cleare says they are a hidden gem that is shining around the world.

She says they’ve received applications from as far away as China, Brazil, Africa, Canada and Europe.

Dr.Cleare is encouraging bahamians to take advantage of the courses offered at the accredited institution.
