NEW YORK – The music of The Bahamas is an important part of the tourist experience but why should they have to wait to come here to hear it?
The Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board recently met with a number of media travel writers to showcase the many offerings available.
Renowned entertainer Lady E gave the event just the right touch.
And an audience of media travel writers got quite a performance recently at a familiarization event hosted in New York by the Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board.
The event was a mixture of presentations, food, and cocktail displays along with great entertainment from Lady E.
She believes Bahamian music is the perfect blend to expose audiences to the real culture.
And while great beaches, authentic cuisine, and exquisite resorts may be a huge draw for tourists, Lady E believes there is a place for music in the overall experience.
