NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police have charged a 29-year-old man who they say robbed a gas station of two Vitamalts and an unknown amount of cash.

Lyon Road resident Jeffrey Ferguson robbed the Rubis Service Station on February 12.

Police said a lone gunman entered the business around 1:20pm and robbed the cashier of money before he helped himself to two Vitamalts before fleeing.

Ferguson is accused of robbing the same gas station of $1.201 on January 8.

Additionally, he’s accused of robbing Bernard North of $500 on the same date.

Ferguson didn’t have to enter pleas to the armed robbery charges when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt.

Bail was denied and he returns to court on May 18.
