NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The cousin of the country’s latest murder victim explained to Our News how he had recently fallen on rough times.

Early Tuesday morning his life came to a tragic end.

The deadly chain of events pushed the country’s murder count to 46 so far for the year.

There’s been concern of a possible gang war following the killing of Michael Fox, a man who police say is a major player in the outlaw gang in Fox Hill.

When asked if this killing could be connected Skipping said

The victim’s cousin, Wesley Neely says his cousin Petrel, who went by the nickname Mitch, was a wanderer and was known around the area for cleaning cars and performing odd jobs.

Neely doesn’t believe Mitch’s death had anything to do with gangs.

As tensions remain high in the Fox Hill community, Skippings gave some important advice to residents.
