Sandals Recognizes 242 Day
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Sandals General Manager, Adrian Whitehead says when they heard about 242 Day, they wanted to celebrate in a special way.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – If you’ve been out and about on Friday, you may have noticed residents sporting their national colors. That’s because it was 242 day.
242 Day was created to showcase national pride throughout the country and staff and guests at the Sandals Royal Bahamian did not miss out on the fun.
Sandals General Manager, Adrian Whitehead says when they heard about 242 Day, they wanted to celebrate in a special way.
Whitehead says their guests will also get a chance to taste Bahamian cuisine and enjoy the sweet sounds of Junkanoo and Rake ‘N’ Scrape.
He shares the importance of exposing their visitors to a Bahamian experience.
