VATICAN – Pope Francis is showing signs of improvement after spending 26 days in the hospital.

The Vatican says his prognosis had been “lifted” Monday, meaning he’s no longer in immediate danger, though his condition remains complex.
The 88-year-old pontiff is still undergoing antibiotic treatment and will continue with noninvasive ventilation.
Doctors say his recovery is progressing, but they’re staying cautious.
Francis was admitted on February 14th with bilateral pneumonia.
This Thursday marks 12 years since he became Pope.
