NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 32-year-old man is facing charges in relation to a shooting that took place in Harbour Island.

Prosecutors say Marvin Williams opened fire on a car occupied by Henricka Solomon and Ceon Duncombe.

Solomon was shot and had to be airlifted to New Providence for further medical care.

Williams faced charges of attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life when he stood before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.

Bail was denied and Williams is back in court on August 28 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
