NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of killing his accomplice in a 2023 shooting will remain behind bars, a judge has ruled.

Denero Whyms is charged with the September 10 murder of Katraz Coakley.

Prosecutors allege that Whyms and Coakley were shooting at a man on bail for murder in Yellow Elder Gardens when Coakley was shot in the head.

Justice Franklyn Williams KC ruled that Whyms posed a danger to the intended target as well as the public.
