SPAIN – Spanish police say they have broken up a crime ring accused of trafficking hundreds of migrants into Eastern Spain, and forcing them to work in slave like conditions on farms.

Eleven people were arrested and more than 300 victims identified, many of them came from Nepal who entered Europe on tourist visas.

Police say they seized cash, forged documents, and phones, and say migrants were packed into tight rooms sleeping on floors and charged abusive fees while working up to 12 hours a day, often without pay.
