GRAND BAHAMA – With promises to restore Grand Bahama and take the country to the next level, the Free National Movement officially launching their standard bearers on that island last night.

Three new faces joined the party’s candidates list, while two senior party members including the party’s leader were on stage last night.

Our Joshua Williams was in Freeport for all the action last night and files this report.

A sea of Free National Movement supporters, packed the city of gold last night.

The party, officially presenting it’s five candidates to contest the five Grand Bahama seats.

Among the new faces was Dr. Charlene Reid challenging current GB Minister Ginger Moxey in Pineridge, promising to address the “real concerns”.

Then energetic Omar Issacs out of West Grand Bahama came to the stage, promising to revitalize his community, pleading this case to the “Obie loyal” voters.

First timer and educator Frazette Gibson, telling Central Grand Bahama voters her party is focused on delivering on what she calls failed promises by the governing PLP.

Then came an emotional Michal Pintard, party leader and candidate for Marco City.

Introduced by his wife, he took the stage in a tearful – rare show of emotions, in a man often seen as serious politician.
