Escaped B.D.O.C. Inmate Recaptured

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Inmate, Winston Walker, has been recaptured. Police reported the 30-year-old Jamaican national’s freedom was short-lived as he was arrested around 1am, yesterday morning.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Inmate, Winston Walker, has been recaptured. Police reported the 30-year-old Jamaican national’s freedom was short-lived as he was arrested around 1am yesterday morning.

His arrest reportedly came after a Seabreeze resident called police to report a prowler on their property.

He was captured only hours after escaping.

The minister of national security sounded the alarm about Walker’s escape saying he was on remand at the Bahamas Department of Corrections for a number of serious offenses, Wednesday.

Walker’s method of escape is still unknown to the public at this time.

Now that Walker is safely back in police custody, police are thanking the public for their assistance
