JAMAICA – Calling on the United States for assistance in his country’s crime fight, Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness is asking the U.S. for help identifying and prosecuting individuals who fund criminal operations in Jamaica.

During a recent meeting in Washington, DC with the police commissioner and senior US Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) officials, Holness pointed out that 90 percent of the guns in Jamaica are from the U.S., noting that the country is challenged to deal with the influx of weapons.
