NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Bahamas Public Service Union has been in a back and forth with government for months over stalled negotiations.

BPSU President Kimsley Ferguson says while the union has had an introductory meeting with the government, it is still waiting to begin negotiations.

The BPSU president says what happens next will be determined by the consensus of the membership.

Meanwhile, State Minister for the Public Service Pia Glover-Rolle, says despite the delays they hope to sign an agreement soon.
