NASSAU, BAHAMAS – March 1 was the deadline for parliamentarians to disclose their finances by submitting their declarations of assets and liabilities.

Our News spoke to several Members of Parliament heading into the House of Assembly Wednesday morning, who say they’ve already filed.

According to the Public Disclosure Act, any person who does not comply with the law is liable to a fine, imprisonment or both.
