USA – Leaders of U.S. intelligence agencies say China is deepening its cooperation with Russia to try to challenge the United States despite international condemnation of the invasion of Ukraine.

They identified the Beijing government as the principal threat to the U.S. around the world.

The hearing coincided with the release of the Intelligence Agencies’ Annual Global Threat Assessment and largely focused on threats from China and Russia, assessing that China will continue to intimidate rivals.
