RUSSIA – The Kremlin praising a “thorough” exchange of views during the first day of talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and China’s Xi Jinping.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov revealing the two had discussed Beijing’s peace plan for Ukraine.

Pescov said the 12-point paper calls for a de-escalation and eventual ceasefire in Ukraine, but declined to give further details.

The United States has been dismissive of it, given China’s refusal to condemn Russia’s invasion.
