NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Bahamas Union of Teachers President Belinda Wilson believes it’s time for government to tackle the issue of transgender education head on in our schools.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Bahamas Union of Teachers President Belinda Wilson believes it’s time for government to tackle the issue of transgender education head on in our schools.
She notes that is important to bring children up to speed with the world that surrounds them but at the same time not pushing an agenda.
Wilson’s comments came during a lunch address to members of the Rotary Club of West Nassau.
When questioned about her personal views or the Bahamas Union of Teachers views on the matter, Wilson denied sharing based on her lack of knowledge on the issue.
