NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of molesting a child at a park is back behind bars after allegedly re-offending.

Zendel Stubbs, 36, was on bail for a similar crime when prosecutors say he sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl as she played on a park in Eastern Estates on April 6.

Stubbs faced charges of unlawful sexual intercourse and indecent assault in connection when he stood before Assistant Chief Magistrate Subusola Swain on Thursday.

Bail was denied and he returns to court on June 15 to receive a voluntary bill of indictment.

In 2021, Stubbs was accused of molesting two girls, ages 12 and 15.

Those cases are still pending.
