NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It is a campaign inspired by personal experience and compassion for others.
Founder of Let’s Band 242, All Cancers Matter, Lisa Turnquest, says she was engaged in a conversation during Breast Cancer Awareness Month when she realized that there needs to be more awareness about the multiple variants of cancer.
The seven year lymphoma cancer survivor shares how experience pushed her to support others.
She says while battling cancer, she often wondered if her support system felt supported.
Turnquest says Let’s Band 242 is about being a safe space for those in the fight, as well as their support systems.
